I have been chatting with a girl from angeles city & I was surprised when I did a search for photos of that area when it brought up lots of girly type bars & even some topless girls who looked pretty hot so my question is has anyone been there & is there more there then just girly bars? also what do you think the odds might be that a girl from there is not a bar girl? the reason I ask is because I told her that I had done a search & that it shocked me to see so many of those bars & topless women so I wondered if women there are much looser then other Filipinas & she said she was a good girl so what does that mean? I am not looking to score unless I find the right girl but I also do not want to waste my time with bar girls so anyone know what that place looks like & is it safe to live? how would I know if a girl was or maybe still is a bar girl? it seems like lots of them are when I search that city & about the bars there. is nude allowed there? below is 1 search I did so I hope it is ok to post because it has some topless photos in it so if not then moderators should feel free to delete itAfter some discussion with the other moderators, I have removed the link from a bing search engine, so instead of the link which I removed because of the semi nude photos that it brought me to, anyone can do a search for Angeles City and then click on the link for images, or search for Angeles City images and it should bring them to the same place. While the link is not against the rules of this forum, this forum does not wish to be seen as promoting anything illegal such as the sex trade that happens to go on in some parts of the Philippines, even though it appears to be illegal under the laws of the Philippines. I visited last January for a few days. Check out this link to a map of Angeles I found a while back. Pretty apparent what the primary attraction is there. Wow there are a lot of bars there and I was amazed that they listed bar fine prices and they called them bar fine, since I was told that it had been changed to early work release EWR, but I am guessing that site in not in the Philippines, yet it might end up helping to close a lot of those bars if officials see that site. So is that place more than just bars as some other members have stated, or is it mostly about bars and sex?Let me add to my post for Travis, I have never been there, so I have no idea how to answer your questions but I have sent you a link to a site that has a lot of bar girls on it, so maybe you might get lucky, or maybe unlucky, and find her on it if she is one. I haven't been to Angeles since before Mt Penitubo went off and closed Clark. Wow! There are sure a lot more bars there now than when I flew out of Clark the one time I was there. I wonder how many of those bars are even still open after all the recent PNP raids.

My nephew married a girl he met on the Internet from Angeles City. I had a lot of concern about her because of where she is from. Come to find out she is a real sweetheart and is being totally taken advantage by my nephew. Boy did I get it totally wrong simply because of where she if from.Doug

hi travis i have been there many times with my wife and there is allot to do other then go to the girly bars but its been at least 5 years since i have been there im sure there is even more there now , but to be honest that whole area around fields ave is really catering to the girly bars there are good restaurants like kokomo's and margariville that are open 24 hours and serve great food i mean the best in town in my opinion as for safety i would say it no worse then manila but there are allot of scams going on around there so you really have to be careful !! as for nude not that im aware of but there was one place the wife and i went to one that had nude girls but we heard that it was owned by the old mayor not sure if that still there now coz bars come and go in angeles very fast !!! if i would have to compare it to any place in south east asia it would be pattaya of the Philippines with out the beach !!! as for if the girl is a bar girl or not to be honest you prob wouldn't know that until you met her in person anyway , but you have been around the block in the Philippines my friend just trust your best judgement , if you want a hotel i stay at when im there i can recommend you one , coz the staff are great the food is great and the bar is open 24 hours and it has a very nice pool and i dont think the cost is 1400 pesos to no more then 2000 pesos and they discount your room if you book it for a month !! i will post a link with permission from the admins or you can pm if you would like !!! take care O-U-C :)

Did you ask her? Wikipedia has the population of AC as more then 300,000. I would venture a guess that only a small percentage of that number are directly involved in the bars. I went there once a couple years ago out of curiosity; it's another place, just like any other with schools, markets, churches, etc, except it has a large and notorious red light district. Not many of us have a choice on where we are born; it's mox nix to me what you do but I would not reject anyone on the basis of where they live.

I agree,there are girls who work in the malls, restaurants,hotels you name it so why just assume everyone is a bargirl. But then why assume every bar girl is bad, that's like saying every lawyer is bad,hmm bad example.As for the women who live there,dont think they would be any looser unless they dated an elephant. Travis, You'll just have to do the "boots on the ground" thing to find out for yourself if it's your type of place! In the late 60s when I was stationed at Clark AB for 4 yrs, before Mt. Pinatubo erupted, Angeles City was my stomping grounds each and every evening after I got off work! Hey, I was only 19 yrs old at that time and I was young with lots of energy! I won't go into the details of any of my wild escapades there, but boy oh boy, did I have a ball! Angeles City is much tamer now compared to when I was there! Normally now, nude dancing in clubs are forbidden by city ordinances, but a few get by because the club owners are protected somewhat behind closed doors! If you want some peace and quiet, don't live near the bars or clubs! What's nice too, there's a new SM Mall just nearby the base! People are just people, weather they be bar girls or not! So, don't get discourage about what you hear or read about Angeles City, just spend some time there and experience it for yourself, but just be careful like in any other places you've already been to!

I agree with others. Just because the girl is from Angeles City does not mean she is a bar girl or works in one some how. Angeles does have that "Red Light" district reputation. When you are there first hand it is really obvious why. Those that have not been exposed to that type of environment are usually quite shocked. If you do meet up with this girl you are chatting with. Just look at how she dresses. Watch how she acts and where she takes you.A good friend of my wife is from Angeles. She did not work in a bar. She met her now husband online to.
