Old news, new again. :attention: THE Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) 7 yesterday enforced a closure order against a KTV bar in Cebu City.Signed by Dole 7 Director Exequiel Sarcauga last Aug. 2, the closure order came five months after law enforcers rescued 146 girls from Club Jaguar KTV Bar in Barangay Kasambagan. Lawyer Roy Buenafe of Dole said the bar violated Republic Act 9231 or the Anti-Child Labor Law.Two of the rescued victims were minors, and are now under the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 7.Last May 24, the Cebu City Government revoked the bar’s permit and ordered it closed.“This establishment is now permanently closed.
