Mr Lee Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 THE three charges filed against the Japanese and Indian nationals, who allegedly posted the photos of a woman and a minor on a Japanese website, are now in court. The unjust vexation case was raffled off to Municipal Trial Court in Cities Branch 3 while the violation of Republic Act (RA) 6955 and RA 7610 were raffled off to Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 8. RA 7610 is also known as "Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act", while RA 6955, is otherwise known as Anti-Mail Order Bride, unjust vexation; and violation of RA 9208, known as Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act. Angelica Singh was charged with unjust vexation while his Japanese boyfriend Kazuhisa Aizawa was charged with violation of RA 6955 and RA 7610. The counsel of Singh filed a motion to reduce bail from P16,000 to P8,000 before RTC Executive Judge Pelagio Paguican last Monday. The City Prosecution Office recommended P98,000 bail for Aizawa's temporary liberty. It can be recalled the two were arrested by National Bureau of Investigation 11 agents at Tessie's Place in Gravahan, Matina, Davao City last July 6 through the search warrant issued by then Executive Judge Isaac Robillo Jr. The two were arrested after the complaints of the Japanese's wife and her younger sister. According to the complainants, their photos were posted in a Japanese website without initially asking their permission thus, the filing of case.
