Mr Lee Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 I wonder where they get their information? Thursday, September 29, 2011AUSTRALIANS in the Philippines were told by their government to "exercise a high degree of caution," citing "high threats" of a terrorist attack and "the high level of serious crime," an advisory dated September 29 said."We advise you to exercise a high degree of caution in the Philippines because of the high threat of terrorist attack and the high level of serious crime," said the advisory, which was released by Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. "Pay close attention to your personal security at all times and monitor the media for information about possible new safety or security risks.""Terrorist attacks could occur at anytime, anywhere in the Philippines, including in Manila. We continue to receive credible reports indicating terrorists are planning attacks against a range of targets in a variety of locations, including places frequented by foreigners," it added.Terrorist targets include shopping malls, markets, embassies, expatriate housing complexes, hostels, guest houses, clubs, hotels and restaurants, fastfood outlets, bars and pubs, cinemas, convention centers, places of worship, schools, public transports, tourist areas, festivals, outdoor creation, and major sporting events, the advisory said.Australians should also be extra careful when using Philippine government facilities and infrastructure including airports, roads, ports, and military facilities.Link
