Jollygoodfellow Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 I have a PLDT account where I can send smart load to multiple numbers from my computer, yesterday a 500 peso load did not come through to my phone which is on international roaming and less than half a day after I sent an Email to support all was fixed with a reply. Good service and often hard to find in the Philippines.
Dave Hounddriver Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 So Smart and PLDT are the same? The buggers won't let me use my Smart cell phone to call a PLDT 888 toll free number for credit card support. They say I have to call from a PLDT land line and now I find out they are the same company. Only in da Phils

Norseman Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Smart Communications was a company that was bought out by PLDT in the 90's The following year, PLDT forged a strategic partnership with NTT Communications Corp (NTTCom), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp. of Japan, the world's leading telecommunications company in terms of revenues. Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart), the country's largest mobile phone operator, was also acquired by PLDT.
