Thursday, October 27, 2011CEBU CITY -- People in the travel industry who want more tourists to visit Central Visayas this year now have another come-on: a drop in crime statistics from July to September."Central Visayas remains one of the most desirable places to live, work, invest and do business in," Senior Superintendent Mariano Natuel said in his report. "(There is) a continuous reduction of crimes despite the increase of population and economic activities," he added.Natuel reported that the number of crimes fell to 6,344 compared to last year's 8,081 incidents.
