Garpo Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 (edited) For those that are thinking about getting into the money lending business. Two Indian moneylenders were gunned down in southern Philippines, police said. Manjeet Singh, 27, and Sukhinder Singh, 26, who were residents of Compostela Valley province, died from gunshot wounds after being attacked at Poblacion village in Agusan del Sur province Tuesday, said Superintendent Martin Gamba, spokesperson of the Caraga regional police office. The victims were about to leave the premises of a rice trading firm when the assailant fired at them several times with a handgun, Xinhua reported. The suspect fled on a motorcycle driven by an accomplice. I wonder if anybody will ever be arrested on this? http://feeds.bignews.../?sid=201051130 Edited November 16, 2011 by Garpo
Forum Support Old55 Posted November 16, 2011 Forum Support Posted November 16, 2011 No. It’s unlikely anyone will be held accountable, this is more or less a weekly occurrence. As you said being in the lending (loan shark) business is a good way to be killed. As a Foreigner running or owning any business in Philippines is unwise.
