Jollygoodfellow Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Here is a list of some hotels and pension houseshttp://www.cebu-hotels.info/ I'm sure everyone has had different experiences while staying at hotels,my favorite hotel in Cebu would be the Montebello hotel at Banilad. Stayed there 3 times and its a good hotel for relaxing. The food is good too. They have 2 swimming pools as well. Staff are friendly and just a quick walk around the corner to the Country mall.Next on my list would be the Midtown, mainly for convenience as its located at Fuente Osme

paul Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Another place to stay in Cebu, would be the GV Tower Hotel. It has beautiful views (some rooms offer a panoramic view of the city), clean, comfortable rooms, and at a decent rate. Currently, they are offering a pretty good discount, until the end of November, 2008.Click here: GV Tower Hotel
Panserhansen Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Here is a list of some hotels and pension houseshttp://www.cebu-hotels.info/ I've stayed twice at http://www.cebunorthwinds.com/ in Salinas Drive, Lahug. First time in 99 and second in February this year. Both stays were OK. Payed about 1600 last time for an ambassador suite for three persons. Great working aircon, TV and fridge. A bit rustic maybe, and rooms could have been bigger, but still decent for the price. I have read reviews disagreeing with me, so maybe we were lucky or they unlucky. They claimed to have wifi, but it didnt work during our stay. Thoughtless me only asked if they had wi-fi, not asking if it worked! :SugarwareZ-037: Breakfast at 130 were good, and brought to your room without extra charge. Some of the staff really serviceminded, others not that much. I remember we were lazy in the room, called and asked if they had any snacks. The guy brought 15-20 bags and we picked some of them, the rest he brought back in the lobby. Easy to get a taxi outside, and just a few minutes from Waterfront or Ayala. Hi PanserThe hotel seems fine from looking at the web site. The thing with reviews like in Trip Adviser, etc is that many people have different expectations, this also varies by nationality. The fridge is a good size compared to most in hotels. As for wifi, could be you didn't ask the right question :P Tom
