Jungle Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 i was in bed and got woken up about 2am and there was about 2 inches of water on the floor of the apartment. by the time i put on a pair of pants and a shirt there was 3 ft of water in the apartment. then i opened the only door out.... well there was around 5 ft outside the door i had a tribe there, my wife and two kids (6 and 3), sister in law, brother in law and his girl and a ya ya. got them all out and up to the front gate which is about 7 ft tall pushed them up on it so they could climb up on the roof of the front apartment. went to let the apartment block owners dog out of its cage and put it on top of a toyota, swum back to the gate and there was another 3 people there, give them a push up the gate. outside in the street the water was flowing about 5 knots, i then swum out into the current and let it carry me to the front stairs of the owners house, by 5:30am we could walk around on the street. what a mess... the apartment looked like a bomb had gone off in it. all the furniture was ass over tit and covered by mud.... thats enough about that..... all that sh&t can be replaced... i just thank god all my tribe was ok...
