A woman full of Christmas cheer has stumbled and fallen between the platform and train carriage in Yorkshire.CCTV footage shows the blonde woman, dressed in a gold cowboy hat and high heels, step off the train at Barnsley station and stagger backwards as she looks in her handbag.According to the Daily Mail, the woman only survived after other passengers stopped the train from moving and pulled her free.The Mail reports the woman appeared so drunk she lost her footing, fell to the ground and could not stop herself from rolling into the gap between the carriage and platform.The woman was taken to hospital with cuts and bruises and was cautioned by police for being drunk and disorderly.The rescue delayed trains by 20 minutes.Inspector Graham Bridges, of the British Transport Police, told the Daily Mail: "This woman was lucky to only end up with a few minor injuries and, had it not been for the alertness of other passengers who helped her, we could have been dealing with potentially serious injuries."
