:no: Damn, they are dropping like flies nowadays. 48 is so young to die.Monday, January 16, 2012ANOTHER American national was found dead inside his house at Velarde Compound in Baliok, Toril, Davao City on Sunday.Inspector William Corpuz, chief of the Talomo police station, identified the victim as Michael Small Overton, 48, who hails from Hawaii.Corpuz said the victim’s body was found half naked inside the bathroom, seated on the toilet bowl with his head in a pail of water.“Bale nakita siya ng sister-in-law niya na nakababad na yung mukha sa timba. Sa taranta ng babae tumawag siya ng 911,” Corpuz said.The victim was declared dead at Malta Hospital in Toril. Corpuz said he already requested for an immediate autopsy of the victim.Further investigation showed that the possible cause of death of the victim was cardiac arrest, as reported by the attending physician of the same hospital.Link

I was thinking the same thing but maybe they use a bucket to flush the toilet and when the guy had a heart attack (if that is what killed him) or passed out for other reasons, then he fell over and his head went into the bucket, thus finishing him off if whatever caused him to pass out in the first place didn't. All toilets now need a sign WARNING, keep buckets out of head reach. May he rest in peace.

There are several buckets in the CR at our place in Mindanao. A 5 gallon bucket and a 35 gallon plastic can. Darn shower valve leaked so they but the big can under it. When sitting on the pot I sometimes leaned my arm against it. sh&t now I need to keep the thing away when nature calls.Dying on a toilet must be common. Neighbor down the street here in California died on the toilet a few months ago. Heart attack.

I read somewhere that a large number of people die while sitting on the pot or in the bathroom ....... surprising most are men ...... so Jake if the need ARISES and you feel the urge please ...... not on the pot ....... we don't want to loose you ........ Are you saying you want to go at the horse stables :lol:I think if your heart is gonna fail, on the toilet has gotta be the worst possible place.

A lot of people do die on the toilet or after getting up from the toilet.The reason is ,when you sit on the toilet you cut off a lot of circulation to your legs.When you lean over to clean yourself or start to stand up the blood rushes back to your legs causing a drop in blood pressure which in some cases can result in a heart attack and death.A much better way to die than months of suffering from a disease.Just my humble opinion.
