daisy Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 (edited) I really don't agree on the sending of money thing before seeing each other in person but probably most foreigner who wanted to impress his poor little girl in the Philippines love the feeling of being able to do something for the poor little girl out there who entertains him on the computer. I just remember that 11 years ago, after a year of communication and argument every time he sent 100 USD to help me because of his "I felt in my heart that I have to send this..blah, blah..." he sent me 2000 USD for me to keep until he will come and visit me here in CDO. The instruction was..."Spend whatever you need" huh!!!! if only he said spend whatever you want, I will spend them all! :AddEmoticons04230: It was just good I was teaching Economics 101 at that time so I mastered the WANT and NEED in my vocabulary.....LOL! That means I am surprised at how many girls in this area are getting cash gifts from on line boyfriends (that they only ever talk about when explaining why they suddenly have beaucoup cash). It means these girls like to brag to all their friends. It means guys like me hear: Everyone else is getting gifts from people they have never met and I don't have anyone giving me any gifts, hint hint.Really, its a shock at this time of year to see how many people send cash to their "girlfriends" who they only know on line.PS. To all the guys sending money, these same girls don't admit to anyone that they have a 'boyfriend' until they get money and need to brag about it. I guess that means you need to send cash every day so they will keep telling everyone that they have a bf. Your girl may want to meet you at the airport or meet you later with or without an escort you guys should talk about it just be sure to listen closely to the words she uses she maybe shy. We all talk about being used and abused yet we forget the other side! There are lots of foreigners scamming as well and give us all a bad name through their actions.
