Bruce Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 I think your information is somewhat outdated.Sorry Bruce but I read 2 Angeles boards daily and their is NO decrease in sexpats to that area ...... if anything it is increasing ..... there are huge multistory hotels going up in the area of the bars and these ain't cheap ...... Koreans are going to Angeles by the plane load now as Clark has direct flights to many Asian and European countries .....It is funny that Subic has become the home of some of the more famous club and restaurant owners due to the crap going on in Angeles now days ......I assume that you and I both read Harry.... And the view is more down than up. Also emails posted say travel plans are changing due to the anything goes in Thiland and more and more restraints in AC. I agree with your comments about the influx of Koreans... I was looking more at white faces than the Koreans in my post.As things are going, and geared towards white travelers, where do you see AC / sexpats in the next 5-10 years and can you comment on the growth of travel to Thailand? (I am not talking in anyway about the Gary Glitter et al travelers)There is also another issue to factor in. And that is the (US) military pre 1992(?) and post Clark closing. As I see it, the pre closing crowd is retiring or thinking about it and Phils is an option because they took leave there or were stationed there. But post Clark closing, THOUSANDS of service members have NOT been to Phils... so in the tail end of things, they may not consider retiring to Phils. Call me bubba Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Bubba why would they send out a press release if they are already working here?Btw nice postWho knows? My personal thoughts ..(OH lord Bubba has been thinking) :chickendance:1.Is to make those who do such CRIMES.. that the locals may not be able to solveBUT THE "BOYS ARE IN TOWN" FBI and they can make a difference.2, People who know about such things may be willing to talk to the FBI .When they have talked to the "local" police they knew they didnt care or couldnt help.3. last (sounds far fetched as i have not had my medicine yet today) Is if they have evidence on someone , and the Local governmentcant prosecute, It has been done in other cases they when these people do visit the US or a US friendly place, they may be extradited. yes thats a long shot, yet its been done.4. The FBI never forgets, they may have FILES on any one . :hystery: :mocking: 5. The FBI rarely ,in the past years I have lived here or in other parts of the worldPublicly announces what they are doing UNLESS their is a REASON
Mike S Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 (edited) I assume that you and I both read Harry No actually I don't .... these are boards with real live day to day hands on guys like we have here ..... and while like any location it will have it's low and high seasons depending on where you are coming from ....... I don't hear any discussion about the lack of customersBut I guess we should start a new topic about Angeles if we don't want to get our t*t* in a wringer squeezed by Mr. FGF ....... :mocking: :hystery: :hystery: Edited February 17, 2012 by Mike S
FlyAway Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Most likely they light a little fire under local law enforcements feet from time to time when they need to find a fugitive. Another area they most likely are involved with is gathering information on terrorist activities. I am sure they may get a chance to question detained terrorist suspects.
