retired Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Just wondering if there were any others on board that will follow the NCAA basketball tournament from the states ? Growing up in the state of North Carolina , a hotbed of the college game , i became addicted in my teens . Part time job as an usher at the local coliseum while in school allowed me the opportunity to see so many great teams and individual players through the years .Alas , here in Cagayan de Oro if they aren't being paid millions as in the pros doesn't seem to be much interest . :-) I just enjoy the unpredictability of the game at that level with it's one and done format versus 4 out of 7 or whatever . Every year there is always some team that didn't realise it couldn't .Have ASN sports network here via cable and they are advertising they will show some games but my faith in what they say and what they do is not particularly high . Apparently much of their feeds are tied thru ESPN and the games will be carried by other networks . If anyone out there has had any experience with how to get a CBS , TNT or Tru TV live stream via computer here in the PI would appreciate the info . Some streams just won't work for me or if it does work somebody will shut the freebie part down . :-)Thanks Guys
Garpo Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I really enjoy March Madness and have had pretty good luck with these sites for streams.http://www.vipbox.tv/http://livetv.ru/en/
MikeB Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 This is the best one I have found. You get 6 channels for free if you want more you pay. No proxy required. My alma mater, little regarded VCU, made it to the Final Four last year before losing to Butler. Called "one of the greatest Cinderella stories of all time." MikeThis one looks good so have my fingers crossed . As for Va. Commonwealth don't think they will sneek up on anyone this year but they are one of those teams no one want's to play in the early rounds . I am playing the brackets via Yahoo & ESPN and it's free if you are interested . Have to be resident of US to win prizes but i just enjoy the challenge . Have VC in some of my brackets as upset winner but then so do some of the "experts" of which i am not one . :-)March Madness... Gotta Love It ! Just about every sport is available without cost, I have never had a problem finding any game from any team. Just play around with it a bit and I think you will see what I mean.
