Example you bring her to a fine dining restaurant and she knows nothing about the menu. and the Expat BF will say, "Order something honey" and she will say " Honey it's up to you" So few will say, "will you please order for me? I don't recognise their menu" or sometimes she would be very shy about the price and she would not want to order a more expensive one than what the guy will want for himself. In most cases, it's her way of allowing the guy to take charge because he is the one spending.
