The Family! (Hers Of Course)

So many Times, I read and hear about the Filipino family, I am not suggesting that all are bad and most are Good. I can only speak for my Inherited family. Mine is Great. I had a few problems at first but they soon Got used to me. I am not their ATM, I will help but they have to meet me 1/2 way. Any way, I will share with you, the efforts of the family in the Clearing of the Lot that we bought for our retirement home. They all pulled together, as you will see, we had a totally Overgrown lot of 500 sq meters and between them, they cleared, put up a temporary fence and Bored a Well for Pump water, I am proud of them all and I gave a Party on the Lot of Lechon and A crate or two of SMB to help them Celebrate. I hear so many stories of bad families and treating us Foreigners as saviours, being the Rich Ones. My Wife's family have been Great, My hat goes off to them. I hope the Photos will tell the Story for most, to Understand my feelings for them. From Start to Finish, the family did a fantastic Job. I am proud of them all and proud to say I will enjoy my retirement with them."What am I doing here" I think my daughters Smile says it all for me.Sorry if this Bores some but my happiness is starting to take over day by Day. Great post Jack. We usually only hear of the family horror stories and it is always like a breath of fresh air to hear about the good things once in awhile.My hat is off to you sir............ :hystery:

Maybe the filipino family (in-laws, now or future) get a bad rap because they expect you to help them and frequent requests to do so can be tiresome. However most are probably there for you if you need help (Labor, Protection, moral support,) . Thanks for the great post and pics showing an example of that. Guys who never need or want help maybe get to think the support is all one way but I believe most families think it is their duty to support in return in ways possible for them to do.
