Please excuse the Duplicate Photos, seems every time I tried to delete, it said action failed. Maybe one of you officers, on the Flight deck, could sort it for me :unsure: :blonde: So! This brings us to week 4, I will not post now until, maybe Wednesday, TGFT do I hear ? :unsure: I am just so very excited at all this. We often hear of family discontent, but seldom about the great families so many of us are a part of. VERY REFRESHING. I would sure like to hear from any members who care to share their good family experiences. Come on guys, don't be shy. Makes for very enjoyable reading. I just got back from visiting my girlfriend and meeting her family for the first time. There were no real surprises, her family was mostly like what she had related to me in our chats. I spent 7 days out of my two week visit interacting with her family on a daily basis. Though poor by western standards her father has a small business employing 6 people and helps to support their extended family. It was a very positive experience and alleviated any concerns I have about her family. I am confident that any issues that may come up could be resolved by my girlfriend and her father, keeping me at arms length from dealing with the extended family. I couldn't resist! So much of what we have read on here is on warnings about how bad families are and how they are going to take you for everything you have... Yet only a few have experienced these attempts.
