Popular Post Jack Peterson Posted November 22, 2012 Author Popular Post Posted November 22, 2012 :morning1: Sleepy here today, Roof is being delivered, trusses and Purling's all done and ready, so I was up early ( well it came at 5pm, so long day. Photos tomorrow. I had it put in a secure area and even the Flash did not show it up to well. So folks, here we are week 10 and this is how we look now. I did not post for 2 weeks as they were working in the back of the house, (Bedrooms and things. With all the Staging and bodies about, not a lot of room to take many good shots, maybe next week.) my masons, have been busy with the front steps and the moldings around the Exterior of the House. Nothing is prefabricated and so it is all, built on site. I guess those, that have had a house built here, will know, that the Filipino Mason is not just a mason, He digs, He lays bricks, He plasters and one of mine, even Cooks the Bananas daily. I have a Good bunch ( Of men, not Bananas :mocking: ) Just a few shots of them turning out some good work. The Boss is Hiding in the fruit tree, she decided at the 11th Hour that the steps should be semi circle and NOT square but she sent me, to tell the Engineer and Foreman. I caught her watching, as I spoke to them but then crept up and got my Shot. have a Good Weekend if i am not on Line, DUMAGUETE FIESTA WEEKEND

Jack Peterson Posted November 23, 2012 Author Posted November 23, 2012  My Monster has a Headache tonight, this gives me a chance to steal, some on line time. Just an up to date batch of Photos for this week, the Roof Space turned into a Roof parking bay until Monday. The columns continue to get finished, slowly but nicely done. the rest of this batch is just to show the progress around the back and sides also.( i wouldn't want you all to think it was a Cowboy film set, :hystery: all front and no backs) so without further Ado! it's Photo time :cheersty: With all this going on, Our guard sleeps through it ( don't they all ??)
Will Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 Glad to hear of the progress. I have a few questions. Where are the plumbing connections? Are they in yet? What about the flooring in the house, how is that done? What material is the roof made of? Is that metal, plastic... mix of the two? Sorry, just this type of construction is completely foreign to me...... literally! :mocking:
Thomas Posted November 23, 2012 Posted November 23, 2012 Very nice, Jack! The front start looking as a posh mansion! :) How big will it be INSIDE, not counting verandas and such?

But if I can make my future wife agree too, I aim at making mine UGGLY at the outside :hystery: to try to reduce jelousy among Filipin people around.
