Thomas Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 I aim at making mine UGGLY at the outside to try to reduce jelousy among Filipin people around. :hystery: :hystery: Thomas! I think it will take a little more, than an UGLY HOUSE to reduce envy here BUT I do like your Train of Thought  :tiphat: JP Well. I don't expect the envy to become zero, but I guess they would envy an uggly house less than a beautiful one :) So I want an uggly car too :) (Good functioning, but I prefer a common look and uggly. E g a "Toyota Other MT" jeep looking as a common plain one. (But fully covered with doors, aircon equiped, with 4 WD.)
i am bob Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Jack, you do know that some of us are starting to hate you with a passion? Grrrr!!! All kidding aside, the place looks absolutely fantastic! Once it is all done, you will have to give us a basic cost breakdown - just so we can prepare to make our own version of you house some day! How much does your family charge again?

Thomas Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Once it is all done, you will have to give us a basic cost breakdown - just so we can prepare to make our own version of you house some day! Yes, I want to know too - to make my uggly version :hystery: (The cost will not be any big difference. Similar inside, just reduction for some fancy at the outside and I will perhaps skip painting the outside walls (but better for heat to paint them white, so perhaps I will have to do that anyway :boohoo: :) Or if terrain suit, the arriving is from north (=don't need any paint against sun so it can look uggly grey without adding paint, and I can paint the other walls white, which others will not see :mocking: So I want an uggly car too Something like this Thomas or may be take a pick from the Link :) Just having a smiley Sunday morning here. Hope your weekend goes good. :541: http://izismile.com/...er_10_pics.html That one is to pretty. Perhaps a rusty version of the light blue three wheel car :) (I aim at having one functioning very good, but look as the uggliest commonly excisting. But fully covered to try to keep snakes, scorpios and thiefs out :)

Thomas Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 But if I can make my future wife agree too, I aim at making mine UGGLY at the outside to try to reduce jelousy among Filipin people around. Thomas .............. it less ambitious to dream for the moon!!! :hystery: Surely in most cases, but mine said she want a SMALLER house than I want ! Perhaps she is affraid of it would be to hard to clean :hystery: (In Sweden we men are used to make part of house work, and I'm prepared to do in Phili too e g washing clothes and take much care of children, but I'm saved by my knee injury making my wife will have to do the cleaning :) (It don't like even small twists.) I don't want any other people being there normaly, so no maid, but OK to get cleaning help, when do big cleanings now and then.)
Jack Peterson Posted December 2, 2012 Author Posted December 2, 2012 Jack, you do know that some of us are starting to hate you with a passion? Grrrr!!! Well bob! as things Progress, I guess I will be hated a little bit more BUT I am not going to let a little thing like that bother me. Like you, too much water under the Bridge. You know, for a man that spent a lot of Years at 30000 feet and above, I am scared of Static heights. So my hat goes off to the roofing guys, the Sala and Porch levels were done too this week, only the Porch left to Concrete. So if I may, I will encroach on your time fellow members, for this weeks Photos. We have a Construction Finish date of DEC 29th so not too much more to share, until we complete the finish, then you can all gun me down. :hystery:  :tiphat: Goodnight from JP til tomorrow. :Count_Sheep:
