I could be wrong but I think I seen canes selling in a pharmacy once but which one and where is the question. Anyway why does length not matter, not much good if its to short for an old boy like you.

Mike S Posted April 29, 2012 Author Posted April 29, 2012 Thanks for the tips guys but what I want is a cane made from wood ..... I have seen the aluminum and metal ones both folding and adjustable ..... but no wood ones ..... if you happen to see one please give me a shout ...... went looking for rattan in Colon and couldn't find any .... a piece of iron wood bamboo about 1 inch in diameter and 4 foot would be ideal ..... but a fat chance on finding that .... Curley Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Surely a local carpentry shop woodworker could make you one cheaply? If you want really cheap then use a bush growing in your garden and bend some branches so that they grow into the required shape........ just wait a few years till they are ready
sonjack2847 Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Mike I have come back from Metro Ayala where they have canes I checked them out and they looked like wood as the grain looked like it ran all the way through and was uniformed. I asked and they said they were wood. It was on the 3rd floor right by the elevators. So maybe you could check them out good luck Kevin

Mike S Posted May 10, 2012 Author Posted May 10, 2012 Thank you sir I found just what I needed at the Ayala metro in Colon ..... actually I found a better selection of wooden canes than the metal ones and they were half prices so I got two different styles ......
