Genius Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Hi I have a vague idea, (report to local police etc), about how to go about this but does anyone know, the quickest, most effective way to replace a filipino passport that has been lost? Either someone who has gone through the procedure, or knows the ropes. Location lost was Bayugan, Mindanao, if that helps. Most, internet information, is coming from the angle of a lost philipino passport abroad and advising to go to the consulate etc but the passport here was lost in country- and the person who has lost it, does not have any idea, what should be done. Many thanks.

I would have thought a phone call or visit to the DFA Would be a Good Place to Start. they will need to know that a passport is lost so for me this is the best place to Inform.they may even tell the Op what to do next Edited May 4, 2012 by Jollygoodfellow fixed incorrect posting
