Mike S Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Thank you Ashanti for that information ..... now if we can just call in the information abut the location and violation it would be great ..... but it will probably be like the "report an abusive taxi driver" .... we called their governmental hotline number only to discover you have to go down in person to make the complaint ..... at least here in Cebu city that is ...... :tiphat:
Ashanti Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 sorry .............. cant recall the regulation, been out of the country too long. but i do know there is a regulation about illegal structure. and youre right, you need to report it in person and made a formal complaint in writing for them to do anything. Most filipinos know this ........... thats why in a fight between neighbours, they would also treaten to report them. not that many would follow the threat as it is a time consuming affair and you need to stand your ground. I thought i was the engineers office but please dont quote me on that - im really behind now with PIs going on. but if your interested i will contact a someone i know who had been in altercation with the neighbour about this problem.
Jollygoodfellow Posted May 16, 2012 Author Posted May 16, 2012 You know what is really sad ...... they showed a man in his 20's (just guessing) ..... running down the alley with only his white briefs on clutching his rooster . I'm sure in that situation you would do the same thing, grab your cock and run. I know I would not like to leave my cock behind to fall into the hands of who knows who. Most men take pride in their cock, they like to keep it in good condition and even show it off at times. Some even place a ribbon around it to show off its honors. I'm sure it would bring a smile to your face when showing off your cock if someone says, that's a nice cock you have there, lovely coloring and fighting fit. So I guess that's why the guy was saving his from becoming chicken soup. Yep fighting cocks can be a prized possession and quite valuable to.
Mike S Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 (edited) Thank you sir for all that wonderful in site into the tail or is that tale of the cock ..... if I ever decide to get another cock I will be sure and keep it away from you just to make sure you don't grab my new cock and run away with it to the cock-fighting ring .... and yes I have noticed the men walking around holding their cocks and petting them ..... some even put them in little metal cages out on the sidewalks so everyone can admire their cocks ...... I don't think I will do that as I don't want to have to tie my cock up with a piece of string ...... I have seen a lot of them struggling to break free ...... but then in Rome do as the Romans do ..... :mocking: :attention: Edited May 17, 2012 by Mike S
i am bob Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Mike and Tom - You two should be ashamed of yourselves! This is a serious post that included pictures of some poor man who almost had his cock burnt to a crisp! How would you like it if your cock got burnt crispy in a fire? I'd bet you would scream a little, wouldn't you? I am sooooo bad! Sorry... Couldn't resist! :whistling: :omg: :chickendance:

jode Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 (edited) You can actually report them to the city engineers office (not sure which office) to remove their illegal structure. My ex-landlady worked in the mandaue city engineering office. I had to go there once to see her. It was a large office but not much going on. I was surprised as with all the traffic problems, roads needing fixing or completion, and all the illegal structures and squatter, problems, I would have thought that it would be a beehive of activity. There were three or four sharp looking young people intently focused on their computers though, so I thought well they seem short handed, but at least some young professionals are intent on solving the cities many problems in the engineers office. My landlady called me into the back of the office so I was able to see the computer screens these few were working on so intently........yup u guessed it ... Call me bubba Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 seems that the Fires are still happening, just this past weekend here in manila was another, A four-hour fire destroyed more than 200 shanties in a crowded residential area next to the tracks of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) in Muntinlupa City Saturday evening. Inspector Joseph Llames of the Muntinlupa City fire station said less than a dozen residents sustained minor burns in the blaze that started around 6:20 p.m. in Purok 1, Marquez Compound in Barangay Putatan. Llames said the fire of still unknown origin left more than 400 families homeless and P2.5 million in damage. He explained that more than one family lived in one house mostly built with light materials. Firemen prevented the blaze from spreading by taking positions from across a creek that separated the two areas of the compound. The Muntinlupa government is providing displaced families with food, medicine and temporary shelter in an adjacent vacant lot. Llames said the fire caused heavy traffic along the national road near Putatan and Poblacion but did not affect PNR operations in the area. http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/305632/munti-fire-displaces-400-families
Tom in Texas Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 very very sad that your most cherished item in all the world is a rooster ..... There may be some cultural disconnect in this thread's string of "what the heck rooster postings." Many in the PI treat a pet rooster just as many in other countries treat a pet dog... it is a member of the family. In my bro-in-laws case in Lapu Lapu, I think his rooster may be his favorite member of the family. In every disaster in the US, there are photos of people risking thier lives to save their dog from a fire, flood, etc. If our house was on fire... and my wife was safely out... the next thing I would try to save would be my dog Charlie - my best friend and cherished member of my family. To each his own...... :cheersty:
