Popular Post nor cal mike Posted December 31, 2012 Popular Post Posted December 31, 2012 The one thing this topic points out is that Fatherhood at an older age gets a lot more thinking and planning than the younger,"guess what honey, I'm pregnant" approach. It's such a personal choice and I am happy to read of all the experiences of others. I know for me as I said in my previous post {#15} it was mainly about my wife and my child and we are now planning for another child next year. While some may understandably think it foolish on my part it has been well thought out and planned for. I am genetically predisposed to a long life and I try to live a lifestyle condusive to long life. However, in the event that I am not around as long as I think, it is my duty to leave them with the best memories of what a good Dad they had. So my goal is simply to be the best I can every day and pray for as much time as possible here.
Thomas Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 some people think they have to have a child to make there married stronger , no you dont Kids CAN be bonding, BUT actualy the changed situation after geting a baby, is a common reason for DIVORCE :) (I want 2-3 just because we want some kids.) I am genetically predisposed to a long life and I try to live a lifestyle condusive to long life. Me too. (All men of man ancestos (except one accident and a big smoker) have lived to around 85-95). But we can't be sure :boohoo:
