Jake Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 I don't know, maybe I'm still old fashion, especially when poetry and music comes together in perfect harmony. I would like to "di-di-cut" this song to all the ladies of Philippines Expat Forum. The song is a remake from Daryl Hall (Hall and Oats), entitled: Neither One of Us. Hope you enjoy ladies........ http://www.livefromd...p.html?ep_id=26 (fast forward to time 3:10)
Ashanti Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 “What would I ever do without you, jakey ……………… Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohhhhhhhhhhhhh…………………. Neither one us want so say goodbye ……………….” (but I really got to in a while as I need to catch my beauty sleep…… lol) Thanks jake………. that was real nice ………. That’s why I like the golden 50/60/70 songs, with its melodic sounds and rhyming words that touch the heart not just the senses…………….. not the boom, boom, boom of todays music beloved by the young ones (lol) Remember - Bridge over troubled water???????????

Jake Posted May 22, 2012 Author Posted May 22, 2012 OK, boys and girls -- since we're on a nostalgic trip, here is one of my favorites from Neil Diamond: SEPTEMBER MORN http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFWulLWyF-w
Steve & Myrlita Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 (edited) Back when music had quality & meaning. I too hate the boom-boom-boom since my hearing is very sensitive to the low freq spectrum, it gives me a huge headache.
