Thomas Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Seriously though, I suggest a visit to Subic Bay if you want a place where you can feel comfortable and there are a lot of expats. Down side is probably the cost of living there. An other down side is there are a lot of expats :mocking: Many go on vacation abroad to places where all speak their own language, e g in Spain there are both "Swedish" and "German" talking places :hystery: (But I think too, it can be nice to meet expats SOMETIMES when living abroad.)
OnMyWay Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 An other down side is there are a lot of expats Well, I thought Subic Freeport Ayala Mall had a lot of expats, but I just spent the afternoon at Ayala Mall here in Cebu City and there seem to be a lot more expats here! However in Subic you see more families, probably mostly US military. In Subic I saw foreigner teenages girls hanging out a few times at the mall. I also noted in Subic a lot of German license plates covered over with Phils plates, and I assume these are US military who have moved.
