JJReyes Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 I was referring to "the atom bomb was originally created for dynamite fishing". My mistake. "Atom Bomb" is the nickname for a firecracker, not in reference to the Atomic bombs dropped on Japan. Several months ago, I met someone from the Marshall Islands who was a child when they detonated "Bravo," the first hydrogen bomb. It was one thousand times more powerful than the Hiroshima bomb. One effect was a color precipitation similar in texture to snow. The children played with it, not realizing it was radioactive. One third of the Marshall Islander population died from radioactive poison within the first year. There remainder still come to Hawaii seeking medical help. This guy living at a shelter for Pacific Islanders has cancer problems.
