JJReyes Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 (edited) During the 2nd Retirement & Healthcare Summit 2012, an official from the Department of Tourism announced that they plan to have the 180 days visa waiver program for retirees implemented by December 2012. Delegates at this year's conference were a bit skeptical about the announcement because the six months visa waiver program was already discussed during the first conference in April 2011. My associate, who attended the conference, said the delegates were very vocal during the Q&A. They demanded action, not promises. Dave Hounddriver Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 I wish I could believe, but they still have not implemented the 30 days for tourists (up from 21) which has been promised as a 'done deal' already
