Popular Post Bundy Posted August 3, 2012 Popular Post Posted August 3, 2012 Having been in and out of this place many many times i have had a fair bit of dental work done here, some good and some not so good, so if anyone is thinking of comming to Cebu in particular to have their teeth fixed i can give you the name of a very good dentist. Before i left Oz i had to have a tooth pulled and at the same time i was told that the tooth next to it was in bad shape. It needed the filling removed and two other holes filled as well.Cost for this in Australia was $489. I left it until i got over here because i knew it would be a lot cheaper.Well today i went to Green Apple Dental at the terraces Ayala Mall and was surprised to see that this dental surgery is as good as any in Australia. They examined the tooth and told me exactly what i was told in Oz, so i told them to go ahead and fix it....................total cost was Php1,800. (less than $50) Yes i know i could have got it done even cheaper in other places i've been to but as i said, this place is "western standard". So, i now know where i will be going for any further dental treatment.
Adventurer Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 yes I would only use one dentist here in Cebu, Green Apple, very professional, clean and the same level as you would get in top dentists in Aussie for a fraction of the cost. In fact I thought your post was going to be asking who is a good dentist and I was going to recommend green apple lol. I did visit a couple of others as well before I found them and the others were no where near their level.

MikeB Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 I also have heard good things about Green Apple. The dentist I use and recommend is Dr Cherrie Acorin in Dentaland, also in Ayala but in the basement, next to BPI. Seeing her Wed after a year.
Tukaram (Tim) Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Dental work is on the top of my to do list when I move over there. Cebu was already going to be my starting point. Sounds like a good combination so far. Thanks for the info. :tiphat:

CebuAndy Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Used both Dental Land and Green Apple, both give excellent service. Green Apple also has connection to a dental Professor who are located nearby. And the best is, they charge only 50% of similar dental work in Thailand
Curley Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 I broke a big chunk of one of my teeth today and I need a lot of other work doing...... just praying that it will hold out till I get there (hopefully) in Jan. Maybe I will get an estimate from both recommended dentists.
