In its latest bulletin issued 5 p.m., PAGASA said the areas under signal number 1 are: Quirino Aurora Isabela Kalinga Apayao Cagayan Babuyan islands Calayan islands Batanes islands The areas are expected to experience winds of 30 to 60 kilometers per hour within the next 36 hours. The storm is expected to bring light to heavy rains over western Luzon, PAGASA said At 4:00 PM today, tropical storm's center was estimated to be 430 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora. The storm, which is packing maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph, is moving west northwest at 13 kph. The storm is expected to be 210 km east of Tuguegarao, Cagayan by Tuesday afternoon and 80 km south-southwest of Basco, Batanes by Wednesday afternoon.
