I was woken by the usual shrieking of pigs, can't see what all the fuss was about, they were only getting their balls cut out without anaesthetic, talk about fuss about nothing...

if you do it within the first two weeks it is not bad, just be sure to pour lot of salt in the cut , they will tip toe for a few days but will be fine.

With goats and sheep we used the banding method ..... (puts a heavy elastic band around them) they (the balls) would usually dry up and fall off in a few days ..... it was kinda funny to watch them do the SPRATTLED LEGGED HIGH STEP for a few hours ....
