Forum Support Old55 Posted September 7, 2012 Forum Support Posted September 7, 2012 Filipinos love nick-names and often have more than one. I'm curious what interesting nick-names others have come across in there adventures. Any members have a nick-name your wife or family chose for you...... that you know of? Me = Annabelle's Giant.
MikeB Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 She calls me "Daddy" from the Ray Charles classic that we listened to when we first met: "In the evening when the sun goes down When there is nobody else around She kisses me and she holds me tight And tells me, "Daddy, everything's all right" That's why I know, yes, I know Hallelujah, I just love her so" I'm not sure if she knows my real name.
S123 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Many nicknames are created by just saying the last half of a name. My ex used to call me kling. Which came from Älskling, which is a swedish word mening darling ;)

Thomas Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Many nicknames are created by just saying the last half of a name. My ex used to call me kling. Which came from Älskling, which is a swedish word mening darling ;) Have noticed that last half of name too. - I'm Sanct Thomas, several places in the Philippines are named after me, so I don't need any nickname :mocking: .
