Popular Post Dave Hounddriver Posted November 18, 2012 Author Popular Post Posted November 18, 2012 please continue to keep us posted Here it is, 12 days after the opening post, and we are now the proud parents of a 7 lb crib rat . . er . . baby boy. It all seems to be working out fine. Her labor pains started getting bad after midnight so I took her in to the hospital at 1 am. The doctor was in town and came right to the hospital and stayed with her all night until the baby came at 2 pm. She is a great doctor and now I know why family members recommended her. The only hitch was needing a couple of snips with the scissors to help the baby get out easier, but then she sewed things back up and even threw in a couple extra stitches at my request (Hee Hee) Providing there are no unforeseen events, mother and baby spend 3 days in hospital (in total) then come home. I expect to total bill for everything from doctor to helpers to medicines to private room to come in at about 20K pesos. Not bad in my estimation.
