So just because you are happy to look like Colonel Sanders means everyone else has to be the same? :) What is old? When should one conform to the old age requirements?

I hear that a lot and its an idea I don't totally agree with. You never know when you are going to want a job from someone, or a loan from someone, or a favor, or even a favor for a family member, or maybe you want to do some kind of business and that person is a potential customer. Its my opinion that those who don't give a rats what anyone else thinks are setting themselves up for future disappointments.

But I care what you think JGF. :541: I just think that we should consider what the other guy thinks, weigh the merits of it, then take the suggestion or toss it out using our good ole common sense. For example, when Okieboy says there is nothing worse than an old man trying to look young and my wife says she does not care how old I get so long as I look the best I can for my age, you can guess what suggestion I will discard and which I will take to heart.

I started going gray in High School! (Yeah, if you lived with my dad for 16 years you would go gray too :mocking:) So I am used to it and don't care. Hopefully no girlfriend will try to get me to dye it - but the matchmaker at temple tried to get me to dye my hair

well........... my husbands insist with nose in the air that his grey hairs makes him look distinguished ! :mocking:

This is where we are not on the same page, if I dye my hair I do it for me, not anyone else. I prefer my hair darker just like some might like to wear blue shirts or red socks or what ever. As for comments, never heard any so my ego has nothing to do with it.
