Mike Bannister Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 This group has a weekly meeting at the Kingston Lodge Hotel, in Cagayan de Oro. Starting at 10am and running till 2pm there is the opportunity to meet others, have a really cold beer, and if you want a western style meal that tastes real good, it's available. But if you want to just visit and chill, you are welcome to do that. Oh and just as a thank you the hotel and a local European style bakery offer a free raffle ticket in a four prize draw on the purchase of your first drink, whatever that is

avachat147 Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 G'Day Mike, Your expat club sounds exactly what I am looking for, however, the problem is I am retiring in Bohol Province.Do you or any other fellow expats know of a similar expat club in Bohol ? Also,I have been reading conflicting reports about which is the best health insurance company for expats to join. I am an Australian aged 66. Can I get a few replies from members with their ideas on which would be the best. Thank you members John Maxwell

MJFrost Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Hi Mike & CDO people, I'll be visiting the Philippines for the second time this October in anticipation of moving there next year. I read some very positive reports about Cagayan de Oro and plan to spend a week there. Any introductions will be warmly welcomed. Mike
