I have just read about an English guy on death row but was found innocent by a higher court.

On his release, the Immigration Commissioner ordered that he was required to pay fees and fines to the Bureau of Immigration for overstaying on his tourist visa (he was in jail on death row during the entire period of his overstay). He was forced to pay before being allowed to leave the country.

How can they be so stupid.

3, unaware that their actions can have repercussions

I recall another story that a man was "arrested" charged w/a serious crime, even the governer gave the children candy&gifts

it turned out , He was released as they knew he was TOTALLY innocent. when it was time to depart,

HE HAD TO PAY FOR HIS OVERSTAY.. altho no fault of his on,
