1. If you come to hospital without PhilHealt OR enough cash, it's a big risk you will not be treated at all in hasty case either. Iiiiii! Philhealth SOLVE that (at least in many hospitals.) 2. And as someone else wrote, PhilHealth don't let hospitals take "kano prices" =You get a skilled price negotiator for free  

There are Philhealth offices throughout the country, any of them can tell you what it is and is not.

Tell me what?  I checked it a year ago, so I don't remember all details, but I remember I will surely have one, when I move there  :)

And make sure family-in-law can have one too.

 

(When I move, I will check details about hospitals around where I will settle, and if I have enough money to be "my own insurance company" for my family, or if I will have to find some more insurance.)

 

 

So if your a Kano and unconscious..and dying ,they turn you away ?

I don't know anyone personaly, but several have told some hospitals refuse to treat if don't have PhilHealth or can show money enough.

 

I wouldn't be suprised if it is as they say, because see what happened with the man this topic started about, although he have paid much...
