Npa Attack At La Castellana, Negros

They killed some civilians too - executed style some news say. Odd compared to what I have heared about NPA. In Samar some says NPA do the police work better than the police  :)

 

 

OK to discus such?    It's a security question concerning living close to NPA  :)

I have never heared from any people in PROVINCE NPA attacking civilians (except big Mining company). But I have heared from Upper Class in MANILA, saying NPA force everyone to pay "tax" to them. poor people too. I guess the later is (mainly) from government propaganda, because otherwice I suppose some of them living close to NPA would have talked about problems for civilians...

 

But I suppose it's possible local leaders for NPA in different places can behave different.

 

So what do you believe? Anyone living/have relatives at Negros?

/NPA seeing the killed civilians as police (supporters) because they travelled together with the police?

/Or NOT being NPA doing the attack, some NPA OPPONENT make FAKE "NPA" attack to get political advantage for themselves?  It's election there rather soon...

From what read, there was a real effort to yell the name NPA multiple times to try and blame them. Sounds more like a 'hit' and the NPA was a simple diversion. On Samar, I do not hear anything bad about the NPA from the squatters. I have no actual contact or experience with them. But if I HAD to make a choice, I would rather deal with them than the boys in Zambonga (spl?) area.

Thomas, you're asking a question that may not be relevant in a week or two or may have different answers by the time anyone could answer it.  Unfortunately this is also getting to be a very political situation in the direction your questions are going and thus should not be answered on this forum.
