Jollygoodfellow Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 One for the good guys Manila cop shoots jeepney robber dead http://www.philstar.com/Article.aspx?artic...ubCategoryId=65 Only in the Philippines, firstly a robbery takes place and the robber lunged at the policeman with a knife,he gets shot but the bystanders want to lynch the policeman? Then relatives of the dead man who happen to be police want charges brought against the policeman. Is there any common sense here. :th_thholysheep:
Mik Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 All police should be allowed to ride the jeepneys for free. The mayor can give a monetary award for each holdupper arrested. Double award if the holdupper is shot dead.

Double award if the holdupper is shot dead. While I agree that free rides would be a good idea, I think it would be a bad idea for them to tell the drivers or conductors who they were because then they would be expected to act immediately if something were to happen or they might even be outed by a passenger who saw them identify themselves to the conductor............. I think it is best they keep their anonymity and are given rewards for each robber they kill or arrest. I personally prefer they kill the low life dirt bag robbers, and if the reward was larger for dead than alive, that might be the end result.
