GregZ Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 nothing but a smile and 3 tiny red bows I'm going to guess that Old55 is referring to this bit!? I'd put up some pictures but I doubt many here would enjoy ME dressed like that. :nudie: Anyway, I've got a few little things going on for V-day. I figure many 'little' things will make for a good day. - Coordinating with the family for a video chat with as many as they can manage at once. - Pink throw pillow that has a VERY nice, long verse written on it reflecting my deep feelings. - Red teddy bear with a heart pillow in his arms (I don't want the hug competition but...). - Card that with modification will say JUST what I want it to. - Trip to Ocean Park. - Candle & mineral oil. - Music. - Cook favorite snack type foods fresh. That is a good start.

Popular Post Markham Posted February 9, 2013 Popular Post Posted February 9, 2013 I think Greg may be missing the point. You have all year to be lovey-dovey but birthdays, Christmas and especially Valentine's Day are days on which you prove how strong and enduring is your love. A trip to Ocean Park going "ooh aahh" to the dolphins is all very nice but does it last? Now a socket set, as suggested by Bruce, is both strong and it lasts. Now some may accuse me of being over-generous - mine's getting a set of new overalls AND a car maintenance course - but what the heck, I love her. Besides which, she got the socket set last year.

Do you know what she is getting you Mark? Perhaps a nice new dress or perfume :)
MacBubba Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Perhaps a nice new dress or perfume If she's not sure of your size, she can't go wrong with a purse and wallet set.
