Jollygoodfellow Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 That might teach him a lesson :cheersty: A Queensland street performer lost his cool when a heckler went too far, punching the man in the face while his shocked audience looked on. The busker, decked out like a cowboy statue, brought a touch of Wild West retribution to Surfers Paradise when a passerby repeatedly entered his personal space. The heckler was caught on camera adjusting the street performer's costume, tickling him, and even giving him a 'wet willie' with a saliva-moistened finger. But what finally caused the performer to lose his cool was a full-frontal assault on his mustache. The punch was swift and met with a shocked "ooh!" from onlookers that wouldn't have been amiss on a canned audience reel. Neither the busker nor the heckler have yet been identified, although the video was viewed hundreds of thousands of times on its first day on Youtube. http://au.news.yahoo.com/queensland/a/-/latest/16381180/statue-busker-punches-heckler-in-face/
Bruce Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Got what he deserved. Those poor beefeater bear hatted Queens palace guards have to put up with idiot tourists everyday. Sadly, their guns are not loaded....

Bruce Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 beefeater bear hatted Queens palace guards Not beefeaters that guard the Palace Bruce, The hats are called Busbys But aren't the hats made of bear hide? And were does the beefeater title come in? I saw a documentary years ago about them and that is what I remember. Also, in the US, a brand of gin called Beefeater with the Palace Guard on the label plays off the term beefeater.
brock Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Yes the hats are made of bearskin, The Beefeaters are guards at the Tower of London to supposedly guard the crown jewels. Some can be found at other palaces too. The guards at Buckingham Palace are mostly The Grenadier Guards But can come from a few other regiments too. These are the ones that wear the busby hat. The beefeater gin was from a London distillery,
