I remember 20+ years ago when I was in nursing skool, we did a rotation in nursing homes and there was a very wealth retired attorney out of Philadelphia with advancing alzhimers.

 

His family hired a Jamaican care giver for him even he was in a nursing home. He used to call her every name possible.... But she never complained never was openly offended, and had been taking care of him for several years. Did her job and collected her check. So who wins there? She does. He still has Alzhimers.....
