When I saw the skin color of the two guys I knew they didn't know how to climb coconut trees.  People who climb trees regularly naturally have darker skin from being in the sun a lots. These guys have been hiding from the sun inside.  While these guys were standing around talking my wife could have climbed the tree, removed the good coconuts and came down. She grew up climbing coconut and other trees beginning at age 6 in Mindanao. She had a dark tan when I met her.
