Popular Post bootleultras Posted March 30, 2013 Popular Post Posted March 30, 2013 (edited) Well gents,After a couple of relaxing days in Laiya, I thought I would share a couple of pictures of the great time I had with the family. As always we brought all our own food and drinks along & there was plenty to go around!! For those who dont know where Laiya is, it is on the south eastern most tip of the Batangas province, around 2 1/2 hours from Manila. As you could imagine there are so many resorts to choose from and we chose the White cove beach resort as it was perfect for a family group for an overnight stay with a good price to match ( there were 13 of us after all). My wife has already made plans for us to go back as we would like to stay in coco grove resort which although slightly deceiving from the main road is a beautiful resort with great private huts right on the water front on stilts around 20 foot high, with 3 meals and full use of all resorts amenities it only costs 5000 pesos for 2, as i say we'll be there again in a few weeks or so & I will post a new review of that particular resort with photos also, anyone wanting to see the place sooner they have a website www.laiyacocogrove.com.For now here is the white cove pics. Thanks. There is a property developer interested in my idea of building an eco-village using bamboo as the primary building material. I need for his design team to visit resorts in the Philippines similar to the attached photograph. bootleultras Posted March 31, 2013 Author Posted March 31, 2013 I didnt see any Jolly, the resorts are really well taken care of, the water wasnt the cleanest or clearest ive ever seen but I definitely didnt notice anything floating past me while I was out there swimming. :)
