Popular Post Jake Posted March 30, 2013 Popular Post Posted March 30, 2013 Shock and Awe Please bear with me - this may be corny, but here's my story and I'm sticking with it......he, he. The moment I set eyes on Bunny Jade, I immediately went into my corner of extreme shyness. A few beers later, I tried to introduce myself with my words having two left feet -- yet her eyes focused on my shyness and allowed me to relax a little. I believe we played some pool. All I can remember is her bending down over the rail and her bunny tail exposing her exquisite soul. Now my words are coming out with three left feet. Talk about extreme awkwardness. Those of you who had the pleasure of venturing through Manila back in the early 80's.....there was one famous landmark along Roxas Blvd. On the 3rd floor of Salahis Hotel was PlayBoy International. One of several that Hugh Hefner operated internationally. First came to mind was to describe her job interview. Judy responded with nothing but praise and respect for the interviewer. His name was Mr Wood. No nudity involved, just walking the ramp with high heels as they conducted a Q and A interview. Out of 250 applicants, Judy was one of the 4 chosen. At first, I could not determine her blood line. Judy's maiden name is Marasigan which is Spanish. She explained in perfect English that she is 25% Spanish and she is the first Filipina I have ever met with cute freckles. She added that she has some German blood too. OK, by this time my speech is somewhat coherent and with a few more San Magoos, I dared myself to ask her out. She politely turned me down due to strict codes set down by Hefner himself. It was an Instant kill joy but at least I could actually say I met a PlayBoy Bunny. At closing time (hours before my departure from MIA) she somehow felt sorry for me and whispered in my ear -- meet me at Dunkin Donuts around the corner. I waited for over an hour and there appeared before my very eyes was not one but two more of her fellow Bunny's. I chit you not.....I was like a kid on my very first visit to a lolipop candy store. Thinking back, what was the major factor that captured my heart? I believe it was her brown eyes (no Mike S, look up) and her well........ OK, her bunny tail also! To be continued......

Popular Post Jake Posted March 31, 2013 Author Popular Post Posted March 31, 2013 Hey, where's part two? C'mon, man! You are such a tease... Wet Dreams (1984, age 34) After a dozen donuts (man, these bunny's were hungry), they took me to the Top of World night club, with a revolving dance floor. Yeah, I still had (have) two left feet dancing the night away. We exchanged addresses and phone numbers and by 10 that morning, I was passed out heading back to San Diego, CA at 30 thousand feet. Sorry guys, but no intimate memories to speak of but I am certain I had some pleasant wet dreams....he, he. With countless letters, poetry, flowers and overseas phone calls, I made a promise to get back to Manila to attend Judy's 19th birthday. However at the last minute, I had to make plans to fly into Tokyo, Japan instead. Our reunion was somber. Here's that story entitled Scandal of the Flesh: http://www.philippines-expats.com/topic/5966-ekimswish-1st-scandal/#entry27675. Upon our return to the Philippines, our courtship was supervised by Judy's older sister Joy. We would walk around her hometown of Batangas (south of Manila) with both of them protecting each other, while I walked around with a thumb up my ass. It was like parading around the neighborhood that I'm the new guy (foreigner) on the block. Soon, the word got around and Judy's ex-boyfriend showed up drunk, trying to win her back. I stood my ground -- proclaiming.....over my dead body. Apparently, Joy was pleased about that. It was a test of my resolve and integrity. Speaking of which, one day I overheard Joy complaining in Tagalog that I was a Bakla. Her gig was up. I knew her game of temptation, so I purposely looked the other way as Joy paraded around the apartment in her sheer panties. Actually both of them were teasing me to the point like it hurts so good. Joy herself was like a goddess -- a model and flight stewardess at the time. How I managed to maintain self control in that target enrich environment is beyond me. Fortunately my integrity remained intact, as I proceeded to the next phase of my courtship. Which was, asking approval from the dreaded family matriarch, Judy's Lola (grandmother). I was on hallowed grounds next to her Lola, a well disciplined lady who survived both Spanish and Japanese influences. In the end, bribery was the name of my game -- a large bag of imported chocolates producing a smile of approval. Man, was I sweatin' bullets......!

Popular Post Jake Posted April 2, 2013 Author Popular Post Posted April 2, 2013 ake, you are a sheep in wolf's clothing mate. Nice, you old softy you. Nice, you old softy you. Dang Classic Dry.....did you place hidden cameras in my bathroom? You just described my love monkey. You know, my middle leg......he, he. Anyway, this should be my last entry. Lifetime Courtship? I have said this before, I may be older but not necessarily wiser. Teaching my teenagers about getting old -- the difference is that I have made a million more mistakes than they have. I would like to think however, that I have learned from my mistakes most of the time. Most of us have been around the block and got ran over by the bus a few times. But somehow, we survive and ended up in the land of brown sugar. Oooh yeah! And now, here we are....at the golden years of our final destination. Does that travel package include a lifetime relationship? I mean, why expose yourself by repeating the same mistake over and over again? Just sit back and enjoy the sunset and sunrise with a lifetime companion. Lifetime? Wow......pretty heavy man. I think it's a trade off between more suffering or more loving. My humble way to keep the fire going is try to remember the first time you met her. Remember those moments where your heart is down to your knees, everytime she whispers in your ear (or elsewhere)? Remember those times where you would open the door for her, as she opens the door to her heart. It's those moments that I will always cherish. I may be condemned to my dog house from time to time but the kiss and make up afterwards is really good for the heart and other vital organs. Eventually with a smile on my face, I'm going to blow a fuse one day. At this point in my life, she is killing me softly and I like that.....he, he.
