There was a previously posting from a forum member about planting African Fire Trees. The poles can be harvested for lumber in about five years. Anyone know where I can purchase seeds?

I suppose you mean BRAZILIAN Fire Tree, talked about in this topic

He told it was short of seedLINGS, so I suppose hard to get seeds too. He told in that topic, he sell some seedLINGS from his place in Bukidnon.

 

 

Here is one selling such seedlings for 20p. Perhaps it's same as the one in that topic, at least it's from same region (=Northern Mindanao).

I have seen tree seedling ads from other regions too closer to your place, but no other ad about such Brazilian Fire Tree.

It must be a senior moment. No wonder I could not locate the information since key search engine word was Brazilian rather than African.

Well. Some stupid doctors said it was depending of my age, when I got bad SHORT memory SUDDENLY !!!  

(=It was very good, then almost zero the day after and I felt very bad and tired. First some doctors believed it was stroke, but after a long while they - perhaps  :)   - found out it was brain inflamation. My long memory is still very good. except for names and time, but  now when my short memory is damaged, it's hard to get NEW things through to it   :th_unfair:    :)     But I still have a saving habbit, and a sorting system, which made I found that Brazilian Fire Tree information fast, because I had saved it, because I found it interesting too.)

 

So I can blame my brain inflamation, when I forget something. It can be convinient sometimes   :dance:
