Windows 7 Question

Now just to through another monkey wrench into the works .... it seems that some Acer Aspire 1's can be booted with a USB for what ever reason  but I think his model ( D257) can I just have to make a boot-able flash drive using the "diskpart" command in the command line .... I know it is a bunch of steps to go through but I don't need another program on my computer for a onetime shot .... if you know what I mean .... now to find a clean Win 7 Starter from the 10 or so I found .... first one didn't work for me cause I forgot to disable my anti-virus and some files couldn't be downloaded (yes I know ... some people have just died of a heart-attack) but I have downloaded from this person numerous times in the past and those that know what "false-positives" are will understand .... sorry can't go into detail as it might conflict with Tom's board rules .... anyway onward and upward ... If the copy of Windows 7 you have is available as an ISO, then use the Microsoft tool to put it on a USB drive. I know you do not want to have things loaded on your PC but this one does not take up much space.

Bob .... you have me all wrong ... there is a place for LooneyX .... it is right next to the trash can in the CR where I dispose of my butt-wipe paper  :mocking:  .... only kidding my friend .... I just don't have the time or patients to start to learn a totally different OS and I am definately not will to give up all my comfort programs I have lived with over these many years ..... but that is just me ..... and what would I do without the tons and tons of games I play on M$ Win7 ..... sorry I just can't abandon ol' friends ..... :thumbsup: :hystery: :hystery:

Holy crap now I have 186 essential updates and 34 suggested update downloads from M$ and his poor little computer is struggling to download ..... tried to download them all at once but (one after the other automatically) the poor little thing gave a gasp and locked up ... so now I'm downloading 15 at a time .... my god ... by the time I get done downloading the M$ crap he'll need a new and bigger HD ..... :mocking:  ..... doing it here cause I have a 2Mbps download rate where it would take him 2 months on his SmartBro ..... :hystery: :hystery:

No problem sir ...... "the check is in the mail" be sure and cash it yesterday as I have no money today ..... however you can send me 2 cases of Houndriver cream instead if you want .... the hair on my palms has reappeared and my asawa refuses to be seen in public with me ..... however there can be something to say for hairy palms just be sure and use plenty of Vaseline to keep from getting that chapped feeling ..... ask Jake ..... . :thumbsup:  :mocking:  :hystery:        :cheersty:
