Retarded Girl & Baby / Update

Well Mercedes had her baby. Back to living in the shanty hotel along the polluted river. The offer of support and better housing given by the FORMER MAYOR during the election campaign never happened (I know I know, I am shocked too! ) .

 

A few months ago forum member JJ donated 2,000p for her and the charity was holding it for the time she had the baby so there would be some cash to buy baby things. The money was given to the mother (now a grandmother) a few days ago.

 

Nothing else has changed. The girl's step father (baby daddy) is still in jail and life goes on!

 

As the charity owns a thrift store in Hollywood Florida, we will be sending over (by s l o w  b o a t) a balikbyan box with some baby things in it and maybe some food....

 

For those of you reading about this for the 1st time  and want to read about the prior history of this 14 (now 15) yr old pregnant retarded girl who was made to have sex via threats by her step father, try doing a search on this site for Retarded Girl, Or perhaps one of the moderators who knows how can link the past post to this one....

I checked with my niece who has four boys for baby clothes to send to the Philippines in a Balikbayan box. Unfortunately, she is an elementary school teacher where the children are 100% poverty level. Everything is donated to needy families at their school. With three masters degrees in Mathematics, Science and Special Education plus combat pay for volunteering to work in a poverty area, she receives an astronomical salary. She needs the high salary since her children attend or will attend private schools.
