The Ear from Freeman;

NON-WINNER. A family was ganged up on by some neighbors who, hearing that someone in this family had won millions in super lotto, flocked to the said family to ask for barato or balato. Strong denials by the family head didn't work. Some neighbors even stoned the house in the evening.

SOLVED. The trouble was solved only when it was learned and confirmed by the neighbors that the winner of the particular number combination that caused the whole trouble was in Manila. “No one said sorry,” The Ear informer said.

Well if he was not in Manila on winning, he certainly was by the time news had got out that he had won!

If it were me I would rather that they not say they were sorry because I don't see where telling me a lie would make things better.

It can be difficult to prove a negative. But a shotgun can help make the words more 'understandable', I SAID NO, NO GET OFF MY PROPERTY!

But then there is the Jake approach who would neither confirm or deny said lottery rumors. In a cryptic way with a sly smile all Jake would say is.... Well, anything is possible, why don't you send your daughters over and we will discuss things... privately :999:

This is why they don't publicize the winners of the lotteries in PI. Everyone is related here. In Canada and USA, the names and pictures of the winners are in the newspaper and on the lottery websites for all to see.

Ha, that's only because different people win the lottery in Canada and other countries. Here in the Philippines...., well what can I say, it would be difficult to change the way certain employees of the lottery look, and not to mention they would have to move house 3 or 4 times a week!!!

Just joking, don't get worked up here, I am not accusing anyone of corruption, .... not here in the Philippines!!!

It's better in the Philippines! ....., unless of course you are buying tickets for the lottery.
