I don't really know the situation of Mr. Singh but if he is engaged like a lot of the Bombay are in 5/6 it can be a very dangerous business to be in especially when you get clients that can't or won't pay ..... much easier and possibly cheaper to have you whacked ..... JMHO

It is inside job, Indian loan sharks killing each other usually for jumping the one to the territory of the other. Filipinos are well known for being extreme on money borrowing. No matter what their income is, I do not know any Filipino who does not owns money one way or another. They do not kill when they do not have to pay...

Another Singh money lender DOA.

An Indian couple, engaged in money lending business for a decade already, was found dead shortly after midnight Tuesday at the shore of Brgy. Poblacion East in this town.

Several years ago, the Indian Embassy in the Philippines already expressed concern on the spate of attacks against members of the Indian communities across the country, many of which were left unsolved.

Interesting choice of words. "Many of which were left unsolved".

Yet another Singh shot dead and a Singh wounded while Singh the driver escapes.  Could be why Immigration wants to upgraded their records.

Indian shot dead in Philippines

An Indian was shot dead while another was wounded while collecting loan repayments from clients in a city in the Philippines, a media report said.

Navjot Singh, 26, and Lakhwinder Singh, 33, were shot by two unidentified motorcycle-borne suspects Jan 6 while collecting loan repayments from clients at San Roque in Calabanga municipality of Camarines Sur province, the Vox Bikol online newspaper reported Saturday.

After the two collected money from Milagros Avila, a local resident, one suspect covering his face with a handkerchief shot Navjot Singh with a pistol.

Lakhwinder was shot in his left arm.

Navjot sustained two fatal gunshot wounds in the chest and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Another Indian, Paramjit Singh, 34, who was sitting in the victims' service vehicle, rushed them to the Mother Seton Hospital in Naga City in the Bicol region.

Dikki Romy Singh takes four 45's collecting debts.

Thursday, January 16, 2014

An Indian national engaged in money lending and his driver were killed by unidentified gun men on board a motorcycle at Circumferential Road, Purok Tultogan, Barangay Mandalagan, Bacolod City yesterday morning.

The fatalities were identified as Alden Teves, 30, resident of Purok Tinagong Paraiso, Zone 3, Barangay Banago; and Dikki Romy Singh, of Villa Angela Subdivision, both in Bacolod City.

Senior Inspector Edgar Gulmatico, commander of Police Station 3, said at around 11 a.m., when the victims stopped at a store in the area to collect payment, two motorcycle-riding men wearing bonnets shot them.

Teves, who sustained wounds on his neck and back, died immediately while the Indian national, who had four gunshot wounds, passed away while being treated at the Our Lady of Mercy Hospital.

Police recovered from the scene of the crime six spent shells of .45caliber, an XRM Honda motorcycle, a cellular phone, and an ice pick.

Gulmatico said that based on the records of Police Station 4, the slain Indian national has a debt with his fellow Indian national. However, they are still conducting further investigation to determine the motive.

Store owner Fely Samillano said she was about to hand over her payment to the Indian national when the two assailants shot the driver who was eating a bread, and fired at the Indian national.

Samillano said the gunmen shot the driver twice and the Indian national four times. She said she was thankful that she was not hit by stray bullets.

Amalia Hermano, Teves’ aunt, said she could not remember that her nephew has an enemy and was in shock upon learning that Teves was killed.

I guess he is a "5-6" usurer  (= Interest 480 ( to 140) % recounted to per year depending of loan period length)     :bash:   So I suppouse such usurers afford even to have fancy cars...

But some perhaps use motorcycles to get faster through much traffic.

I guess the driver was a combined driver+bodyguard, and that's why he was killed too.

The embalmer found a .45 pistol on Teves, the bodyguard and driver. I am surprised that none of the PO1s, PO2s, SP1s, SP2s, SSs, Medical Examiner, coroner, paramedics, and nurses did not find the pistol. It wasn't a .22 derringer but a .45. Maybe they thought he was Ron Jeremy #2.

Or maybe the hitmen put it where the sun don't shine and it took the Medical Examiner to find it ..... :hystery: :hystery: :hystery: :hystery: :hystery:
