Beware When Changing Money...

don't know what it is like there, but all my 8 guys here in nicaragua have never had a bank account. some cannot read or write. i have to pay them in cash every week. in an earlier post i mentioned i have my pitt bull(he would lick them to death if they ever tried anything!) with me always when i leave the bank. before i had him, i would beeline it to the washroom next door at the honda dealer and stuff all the cash beneath the sole inserts of my boots. i saw twice, robberies outside the atm's at my bank here.

A lot of Pinoys don't have bank acounts. (In one family I know only one of 8 have, and in an other no one of 14.) I guess it depends of:

/banks demand a minimum sum STAY at the acount,

/and most don't have any money to have at an acount  :)    so they don't have any use of any.
